Social media, once thought to be a raging fad, is clearly here to stay. And corporations have accepted that, plunging headlong into the social space in an effort to avoid being seen as slow-footed, or worse, old-fashioned. But in the rush, many corporations have yet to craft a compelling social media strategy, and just as important, they still aren’t sure how to measure the return on investment for their social media efforts.

Those are the issues this seminar will address.

And the answers will be provided by Mark Kaigwa, one of East Africa’s sharpest thinkers in the social space.  His client list includes some of Kenya’s biggest corporations. His teaching partner will be Noah Miller, a highly sought-after strategic communications consultant whose clients have included 10 Downing Street.

In this fast-paced, highly interactive two-day seminar, Mark and Noah will use case studies, discussion, and exercises to show participants how to unlock the value of their social media efforts. The seminar will address a range of issues, from how to generate social content to how to know which metrics are relevant for your enterprise.

Most important, participants will leave the seminar with practical learnings that they can immediately apply to their business.

This seminar will feature highly interactive sessions that include presentations, discussions (in large and small groups), exercises, case studies, and other activities designed to ensure that all participants are fully engaged, regardless of their learning style. Participants will learn by seeing, by hearing, and by doing.

This two-day seminar is for corporate communicators and others who are using social media and are seeking to determine how to measure its value to their business.
